AI IN ENTERPRISES

In 2023, it is estimated that enterprises worldwide invested around $151 billion in Artificial
Intelligence [1]. As AI technologies advance at an unprecedented pace, enterprises are adopting
them to maintain competitive advantages in their industries. Approximately “64% of CEOs say
they’re facing significant pressure from investors, creditors, and lenders to speed the adoption
of generative AI” [2]. AI is transforming the business landscape by assisting with forecasting,
optimization, innovation, market expansion, fraud detection, and customer engagement [3][4]. It
is critical to note that these sophisticated applications of AI systems are possible largely
because of the vast amounts of data used to train models.
