About the Role
We are looking for a C# developer to maintain existing enterprise desktop applications, as well as develop new ones.
What You'll Do
- Maintain & Optimize: Troubleshoot, debug, and improve the performance and reliability of our existing enterprise WPF applications.
- Develop Custom Overlays: Architect and build desktop features with a specific focus on custom UIs designed to render and interact seamlessly on top of other active applications.
- UI Automation Integration: Take ownership of a key project that heavily leverages the Microsoft UIAutomation library to interact with, monitor, and control other application interfaces.
- API Integration: Serve as the bridge between the desktop client and our backend services by deeply integrating robust RESTful APIs—this is your primary method of data exchange, with no direct database management required.
- UI/UX Implementation: Design and implement highly customized, responsive interfaces using XAML and custom control logic.
- Code Quality: Write clean, scalable code while ensuring UI responsiveness and smooth rendering through effective asynchronous and multithreaded programming.
Required Experience
- WPF: 2+ years
- XAML: 2+ years
- C# and .NET: 3+ years
- Version Control: 2+ years working with Git
- Asynchronous and Multithreaded programming: 2+ years
- RESTful API Integration: 1+ years
Preferred Experience
- Strong practical experience with the UIAutomation library for advanced user control interactions and cross-application communication.
- Experience building overlay applications, transparent windows, or custom UI rendering in WPF.
- Familiarity with Windows API (Win32, P/Invoke, User32) for advanced window management.
- Experience with third-party WPF UI control libraries (e.g., Telerik, DevExpress, Infragistics).
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines for desktop application deployment.
