About the Role

As a Data Annotation Specialist Intern, you will play a crucial role in annotating and labeling text files and documents to identify confidential or non-confidential information across various sectors including R&D, Finance, Sales, and Customer Service. This role is exclusive to individuals pursuing a Law Major, as a deep understanding of legal concepts and confidentiality is vital. Responsibilities include meticulously analyzing documents to identify sensitive information, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations, and contributing to the training of AI models. You will collaborate closely with our AI team to enhance data accuracy and optimize model performance. The salary for this position is 400AZN per month, with additional bonuses.

What You'll Do:

• Annotating and Labeling Data: Your primary task will involve annotating text files and documents to identify and classify confidential and non-confidential information accurately.

• Data Collection Objectives: Each week, you will have set objectives to achieve in terms of data annotation, ensuring a steady flow of data for model training purposes.

• Quality Assurance: Maintaining high-quality standards in data annotation to ensure the reliability of AI models.

• Collaboration: Collaborating with cross-functional teams including AI developers and researchers to refine data annotation processes and improve model performance.

• Compliance: Ensuring adherence to data protection regulations and company policies regarding sensitive information handling

What you need:

• Law Major Background: Currently pursuing a degree in Law is essential for this role, as it requires a deep understanding of legal concepts and confidentiality.

• Strong written English skills at a C1 level or equivalent, with exceptional attention to grammar and syntax.

• Experience in Data Science: Some prior experience or coursework in data science, machine learning, or related fields is preferred.Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet weekly data collection objectives.

• Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail is necessary to accurately annotate and label data.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with Data Annotation Tools: Experience with data annotation tools such as Labelbox, Prodigy, or Doccano would be advantageous.

• Basic Programming Skills: Basic proficiency in programming languages such as Python would be advantageous for data manipulation tasks.

• Interest in AI and Machine Learning: A keen interest in the field of AI and machine learning and a desire to deepen understanding in this area.
