About the Role

As a Data Collection Intern, you’ll be an integral part of our team, responsible for gathering text files and documents across diverse fields including R&D, Finance, Sales, and Customer Service. Your primary duty will involve sourcing and curating data sets to fuel the training of our AI models. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to navigate through various sources efficiently. We’re looking for candidates with a passion for data science and a keen interest in contributing to the advancement of AI technology.The salary for this position is 400AZN per month, with additional bonuses.

You have

Strong written English skills at a C1 level or equivalent, with exceptional attention to grammar and syntax.
Some experience or coursework in data science, machine learning, or related fields.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet weekly data collection objectives.
Excellent research skills and proficiency in utilizing various online and offline sources for data acquisition.

What You'll Do

Source and collect text files and documents from a wide range of domains, ensuring data quality and relevance.
Collaborate with the data science team to identify specific data requirements for AI model training.
Maintain comprehensive records of collected data, including metadata and sources.
Continuously improve data collection processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Nice to have

Experience with data collection tools and methodologies.
Familiarity with data cleaning and pre-processing techniques.
Basic understanding of machine learning concepts.
